Cathy joined Stebbins Bradley in 2002. She is a member of the New Hampshire and Vermont Bar Associations and a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC). Cathy was selected as a New England Super Lawyer in Estate Planning and Probate yearly since 2018 by Super Lawyers, a part of Thomson Reuter. She focuses her practice on assisting individuals and families in all aspects of estate planning including helping families plan for and cope with the loss of loved ones, wealth transfer strategies, estate tax planning, generation-skipping transfer tax planning, asset protection planning, family real estate succession planning, and probate planning.

Cathy chaired the Vermont Bar Association Study Committee formed to study the Revised Uniform Fiduciary Access to Digital Assets Act, which was enacted into law in Vermont on July 1, 2017. Cathy was a member of the Joint Study Committee of the Vermont Bar Association and the Vermont Bankers Association that drafted the Vermont Trust Code, which was enacted into law on May 14, 2009; authored The Uniform Trust Code: Clarifying and Codifying Vermont Trust Law (Vermont Bar Journal, 2008); and served on the Vermont Supreme Court Advisory Committee on Rules of Probate Procedure for many years.

Prior to attending law school, Cathy worked in the banking profession for ten years, culminating with a position as Vice President of Lending and Branch Management in the Upper Valley for the former Marble Bank. She uses her prior banking experience to help clients regarding real estate matters related to estate planning.

During law school, Cathy received academic excellence awards in Dispute Resolution, Bankruptcy, Federal Income Taxation and Securities Regulation, and the Bankruptcy Medal of Excellence from the American Bankruptcy Institute. She was also an editor of the Vermont Law Review.

A long-time resident of the Upper Valley and an avid runner, hiker, and skier, Cathy has served on many charitable and non-profit boards. Currently, she serves as a Director and is Vice-Chair of the Board of Mascoma Bank. Cathy lives in Norwich, VT with her husband David. They have five sons.
