An Upper Valley native and Dartmouth alum, Ethan joined Stebbins Bradley in 2013. As an experienced and sophisticated independent trustee, he helps families steward and grow wealth across generations. In his business practice, he is proud to have assisted in the purchase and sale of several local businesses and the creation of a range of business and nonprofit entities, as well as providing ongoing creative, can-do problem-solving to a range of firms.

Ethan earned his law degree from Columbia where he was an editor of the Columbia Law Review and a Kent Scholar, and entered practice as a litigation associate with Boies, Schiller & Flexner LLP. Before that, he spent seven years as a high school English teacher, department chair, and football and track coach at the Taft and Kent Denver Schools and earned a Masters of Fine Arts in creative writing from Emerson College.

Ethan is a Trustee of the Cardigan Mountain School. He has also served as a Trustee of the Montshire Museum and head of its Governance Committee, Trustee of the Ford Sayre Ski Council, Vice President of David’s House, and Chair of the St. Thomas Stewardship Committee, in addition to many years of volunteer coaching of Hanover youth basketball and football teams.

Ethan lives in Etna, NH with his wife Zoë and their three boys.
