Laura Beliveau is a member of both the New Hampshire and Vermont Bar Associations. Laura began her career as a law clerk for the Maine Supreme Judicial Court. She then served as Special Counsel for the Vermont Department of Public Service where she represented the public in utility proceedings before the Vermont Public Service Board.

During law school, Laura was a member of the Boston College Environmental Affairs Law Review, in which her Comment, The Forest Legacy Program: Using Conservation Easements to Preserve the Northern Forest, was published.

Laura is a member of the American Bar Association and has served for over eight years as the chairperson of the Government and Public Sector Lawyers Division's newsletter committee and editor of its quarterly newsletter, Pass It On. Laura is involved with several community organizations, including the Women's Leadership Council of the Granite United Way and the Ford Sayre Ski Council, Inc.  Laura lives with her husband, Mark Beliveau, and their three children in Hanover.
